Web Design

Turn Biotechnologies – WordPress – 2020

My first time designing with Squarespace (after laying out in WordPress first). Turn had a site designed by scientists – and turned to us for a site laid out with a bit more of a design eye, with clearer content that was more accessible for a wider pool of investors and other interested visitors.

Agatha Achindu – WordPress – 2018

Created to promote the thought leadership and speaker work of Agatha Achindu, founder of Yummy Spoonfuls baby food company.

Right Story Group – WordPress – 2016

I’ve worked with Jim for several years on multiple clients – updating his site entailed condensing a text-heavy and spread-out site into something more graphic and clean.

Zoo Atlanta Scaly Slimy Spectacular –
WordPress>HTML/CSS – 2015

This site was to promote Zoo Atlanta’s newly-opened Reptile & Amphibian house, the Scaly Slimy Spectacular. It ran both on the Zoo’s actual website, and also on touchscreen kiosks in the actual exhibit that guests could interact with to learn more about the animal inhabitants, the work involved in its construction & support opportunities tied to the exhibit.

Jazzoo Atlanta –
HTML/CSS(2012) / WordPress – 2012-2015

Jazzoo was an annual fundraising party for Zoo Atlanta, which raised thousands of dollars for animal care, research and expansion projects. Unlike the rest of my websites, the first, Jazzoo 2012, was actually made using Zurb’s Foundation CSS Framework rather than WordPress, just to see how well it would work – I broke apart the poster the zoo designer created and made each part link to a lightbox.

James O. Rodgers / The Diversity Coach – WordPress – 2011

James is a management consultant specializing in diversity, who needed both his main site (The Diversity Coach) and his blog (James O. Rodgers) brought from a 90’s look to something more modern.

Vantage Realty – WordPress – 2010

The very first site! This one needed to be modern and clean, with a little fun, while also straightforward enough behind the scenes for the realtors to be able to use it to keep their listings up to date. It included lightboxes and some simple rollovers.
